The Facilities Reservation System is a web-based platform designed specifically for Lourdes School of Mandaluyong to streamline and manage the booking of school facilities. This system allows teachers, instructors, and administrators to reserve computer labs and other educational resources efficiently, preventing scheduling conflicts and ensuring optimal utilization of school assets.

Whether you need a one-time slot for a special class activity or a recurring weekly schedule for regular instruction, this system provides an intuitive interface to manage all your facility needs.

Welcome to the LSM Facilities Reservation Portal!

This guide will help you navigate the system and understand all available features. Whether you need to make a one-time reservation or request a recurring weekly schedule, you'll find everything you need here.

1 Getting Started

Step 1: On the main page, you'll see six facility options:

• GS COMLAB - A, B, C (Grade School Computer Labs)
• JHS Computer Lab (Junior High School)
• JHS Internet Lab (Junior High School)
• SHS Computer Lab (Senior High School)

Step 2: Click on any facility card to view its weekly reservation calendar.

Step 3: The calendar displays a full week (Monday to Friday) with all available time slots for that facility.

2 Making Reservations

One-Time Reservation:

1. Click on an available time slot in the calendar
2. Select "One-Time Reservation"
3. Fill in your details (Name, Designation, Grade Level, Subject, Activity)
4. Submit your reservation
5. Your reservation will be marked with a ● Green Dot

Recurring Weekly Schedule:

1. Click on a time slot and select "Recurring Weekly Schedule"
2. Set the start and end dates for your recurring schedule
3. Fill in your details
4. Submit your request for admin approval
5. Your request will appear with a ● Red Dot (Pending)
6. Once approved by admin, it will change to ● Violet Dot (Approved)

3 Dot Color Coding - What Do They Mean?

4 Calendar Navigation

Previous/Next Week Buttons: Use these buttons at the top of the calendar to navigate between weeks.

Current Day Highlighting: The current date is highlighted in teal/cyan color for easy reference.

Unbookable Days: Days before today (past days) are shown in a lighter color and cannot be booked. You can only book from tomorrow onwards.

Show Full View: Click the "Show Full View" button to see a detailed calendar with all reservation details visible in larger format.

5 Getting More Information

Hover Over Reserved/Locked/Recurring Slots: When you hover your mouse over any slot that has a dot indicator, a small popup will appear showing:

• The person who made the reservation or requested the recurring schedule
• The date and time
• The facility name
• The activity or reason
• The status (for recurring requests)

6 Admin Features (Teachers Only)

Admin Portal Access: Click the "Admin Portal" button to access admin features (requires passcode).

Current Reservations Tab: View all one-time reservations with options to edit and delete.

Locked Facilities Tab: Manage locked time slots - lock facility periods and set unlock dates.

Recurring Schedule Requests Tab: Review recurring schedule requests with options to:

• Approve - Change red dot to violet (confirm the recurring schedule)
• Reject - Cancel the pending request
• Delete - Remove any recurring request

💡 Tips & Best Practices

• Plan Ahead: Request recurring schedules well in advance for admin approval.
• Check Availability: Before making a reservation, check for green, red, and violet dots which indicate the slot is taken.
• Use the Full View: For a clearer picture of all bookings, use the "Show Full View" modal.
• Time Zones: All times are displayed in 12-hour format. Make sure to account for your facility's schedule differences.
• Recurring Requests: Remember that recurring requests need admin approval - they show as red dots until approved.
